What could make our famous Castile soap even better? How about a heaping amount of Shea Butter added to the mix? Maybe you’d rather some oatmeal thrown in there. Some yet may say Chamomile would put this Castile soap over the top. Well, we’ve done all three to create a skin loving, decedent soap! Who says people with sensitive skin can't have luxury?
(Unscented, Excellent Facial Soap)
3.5 to 4.5 ounces
This handmade soap contains Saponified Chamomile Infused Olive Oil, Shea Butter, and Oatmeal. Suitable for all skin types but is especially good for sensitive and dry skin.
Silky, lotion like lather is the trademark of Castile soaps. Pure Castile soaps are made entirely from Olive Oil and are renowned for being extremely mild. Castile soaps do not produce an abundance of fluffy lather, but a rich, creamy thick lather that many prefer. Castile soaps are excellent to use as shaving soaps as well.
Though we use an abundance of Olive Oil in all Wylde Ivy soaps, Castile soaps are truly special…and a favorite of us. We allow our Castile soaps to cure for three full months before releasing them for sale. This helps to produce much harder, longer lasting bars that lather better then most Castile Soaps. We take great care to produce Castile soaps that lather well, but we do suggest the use of a nylon “pouf” to make the most of your Castile soap.
