Rich scent of forest and leather, of myth and ghost stories. Dry October woods, fallen leaves, worn leather, aged vanilla, fireside spice, and full moon mist. Warm, woody, unisex, with a hint of spice.
Notes of dry cedar, black vetiver, spiced peppercorn, red tea, tobacco leaves, charred cinnamon, saffron and ambered vanilla.
The Story:
He thunders down darkening forest lanes, fallen leaves rustling in his wake. He rides past dark lonely cottages and through thick pine stands. The forest is silent this night save the thundering of his horse’s hooves and rush of his steaming breath. On and on he rides, never slowing, never wavering. Through the mist the bridge appears, rider and horse disappearing inside. They thunder on, the pounding hooves echoing down the length of the decrepit bridge. A shadow appears though the mist at the end of the bridge, the rider pulling hard on the reins and the horse rearing with wild rolling eyes. A figure, cloaked in the palest gray and face obscured by a wild tangle of dark hair, reaches out with a frail pale hand. She whispers only one word, a name, and with a cry that pierces the night, the horse and rider are off into the dark once more. The horseman rides again this night, for when she calls, the horseman always comes.

I got the lotion in the scent Idyia. It's hard for me to describe the scent but it's pretty, lightly sweet, and not super strong which I like. The lotion is thin but moisturizing, perfect for current weather.

Absolutely gorgeous scent! The oil comes with a separate spray nozzle if that is what you prefer. I got this as a gift for my mother and it is so beautifully packaged, but I opened carefully to sneak a sniff. It's a lovely warm scent, and I think I will have to order a second one for myself.
